Play is how children develop their Skills, Creativity, Relationships and sense of self. Some people believe that  play is unproductive (especially as children get older). I however believe that play is really a child's work. By this I mean, that children grow and learn as they play. Children are not meant to learn through sitting still and listening, watching things be demonstrated or reading from a book alone! Children learn when they experience. Some children are interested in some forms of play and learning over others. This is what makes them individual. I believe that that most productive learning environments provide all forms of play and learning work in a way that allows every child to choose what interests them the most. I am the creator of The Creative Campus , and I just wanted to write to you and let you know what I have been working on.  I started my own business working with Stay At Home Moms and Nannies. Things have been changing rapidly here at The Creative Campus And I am so excited about our progress I wanted to write you and tell you all about it right away! I have expanded my company YET AGAIN! I have decided that what I enjoy most about what I do, is getting to know you as Moms and Nannies along with your children and creating new learning experiences that help you grow. Hello Friends, Ms. Theresa here again! how has everyone been doing?  I hope you are having so much fun so far this year. This is my favorite time of the year. There are so many fun things to explore in the fall time, Leaves changing colors and falling from the trees, Pumpkins, in my house we grow our own gourds as well. we have been having so much fun in my class. We have learned all about our new friends and made paper dolls to look like each other. Then we drew windows and door on  our homes that we live in and painted them. We talked about how everyone's home is different.  These were very simple but fun activites for my friends. They loved to dip the cars in paint and roll them all around.
