Hello Everyone!

I wanted to send you a special invite to a group I started. I enjoy sharing my favorite activities that I have done over the years, so I decided that start posting my ideas online in the form of this blog. This is a fun way to share my ideas with others, however I also like to hear about the activities that others who work with children do as well. Networking and sharing in person is at times complicated, so I have started a Facebook group for this very purpose that I would love to invite you to. "The Creative Campus Activity Group" is where you can find us. I share Activities, Blog posts, Newsletters, Art Activities, Games and invites to my events.  I would love for you to come and share with us as well! Kids Will Never Learn Sitting Still! (Simon Says Construction)

Every activity children engage in should be chosen by them. It Should be connected to their skills, Interests, or Needs . when children engage in these kinds of activities, they naturally grow and learn as they are exposed to new things. When they are interested in engaging with or learning more about a topic then they will naturally engage. One of my new favorites that I will use over and over again, is "Simon Says" Construction. This is a game that we played today with my " Play and Learn Group". I have created programs for learning and building news skills using play at home! Merry Christmas!! (Cute GIft Ideas Inside)

Hi Everyone! Hope your having a wonderful holiday season so far! With all the hustle and bustle, I wanted to share two of my favorite Holiday ideas with you. I actually have done both of these with children from ages 2-5 and they all enjoyed it. The First is Painted Glass Globes, yes it sounds scary to paint with a two year old but I promise you this is all self contained and EASY!!! take the globe and let the child pick two colors. Drip a little paint into the globe one color at a time replacing the cover. Let the child SHAKE the globe to spread the paint and then repeat with second color. I added glitter with my older friends which looks really pretty. This is how ours turned out.   Then we made a wreath with noodles and  sticky pieces. This is another one that children of all ages will enjoy.
